Ms. Demitrus is a native of the Cleveland, Ohio area, where she attended Myers University and received her Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree.   After spending several years in the accounting field, Ms. Demitrus went on to attend Western New England College School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude .

Ms. Demitrus has been employed with the law firm of Madsen, Prestley & Parenteau, LLC since 1999, and became an Associate of the Firm in 2005.   She is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association as well as the Connecticut Bar Association.   Ms. Demitrus is licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut and in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
